This Charentaise farmhouse has been modernised into family accommodation of the highest standard including a renovated kitchen and utility room.  The gite also retains many original features including the Charentaise fireplace with its Jotul wood burner, the shuttered French windows in the kitchen, to the oak beams of the landing and bedrooms.

This gite comfortably accommodates up to five people.  Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one a double plus single bed with ensuite bath / shower and WC.  The other is a twin room with access to another shower room and WC off the landing stairs.

The downstairs living space comprises a large, open plan kitchen and dining room plus entrance hall.  The kitchen is fitted with large range cooker, contemporary units plus all modern appliances including a large fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher.  Next door is the utility room with a washing machine and dryer.  The lounge area is at the back of the living area, with windows facing east with views of the neighbouring farm.  This area has a large modern TV with DVD player, Wii Console plus a selection of games and DVDs.

The accommodation comes with free Wi-Fi and Air Conditioning upstairs in the hallway and bedrooms.

The kitchen door opens directly onto a large terraced area, large garden table and chairs (to sit 6) plus additional outdoor seating, which enjoys shade provided by the trees.  This is a safe and private area for young children to play as you keep a watchful eye through the kitchen windows.  This terrace leads onto the pool terrace and then down to the swimming pool.
